The Importance of Pre-Inspections

One of the most important parts of getting your home ready to sell is doing a pre-inspection. A pre-inspection is important for a multiple reasons. The first is its best to find out if there is anything wrong with your home before you put it on the market. Reason being is deals can fall apart if there are too many items to fix. The Buyer can get cold feet and cancel the contract. The second is it saves money. You get to fix it your way ahead instead of the Buyer coming up with an expensive bill from the priciest contractors in town once they do their inspection. Third is peace of mind. You know going in that the inspection is going to be much more successful. Many times, the Buyer will bid more on your home because they know you took the care to make sure the home they are purchasing is in good shape and the buyer in turn leaves less monetary room for unexpected surprises.
